Today's post is in conjunction with the Blog-A-Licious Blog Tour: a fantastic blog hop that brings together bloggers of all genres, backgrounds, and locations. I definitely recommend the blog featured before mine in today's hop: RHIANNON PAILLE ; and the blog featured after mine (and host of the tour!): BLOG-A-LICIOUS BLOGS. Do stop by and say Hello, as several blogs on the tour are having giveaways and contests. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteHad to come by again Shelley. I still laugh every time I read that post. Very sweet and intelligent with great writing. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Love the thinking about no food in stories. How about "How to Eat Fried Worms" with no worms? Or Harry Potter without Butterbeer? Glad to be on the Blog-A-Licious Blog Tour with you!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done! Now, I'm ready for lunch!
ReplyDeleteGreat being on the tour with you!
I think you have a interesting niche in writing. You must really enjoy cooking to even tackle the topic. And remember the movie Rataloulli? Don't know if it's spelled right but the animation of the rat who was a chef, in the Disney movie.

ReplyDeleteGlad to meet you on this FAB Blog-A-Licious Tour!
Great. Now I'm hungry. Excellent post!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post, Shelley! I thought about cookbooks, as well. The theme didn't specify novels. What if Julia Child's cookbooks never explained how to make a chickeny chicken? Or Joy of Cooking never walked me through buttermilk pancakes? Horrors! Great post.
ReplyDeleteThat's a real clever take on the topic, Shelley! :)
ReplyDeleteReally cute, fun and delicious post! I'm now following you and looking forward to more goodies from you.
ReplyDeleteRegards, Mari
